In Rat Climber, you only have one goal: reach the top of the world.
You must navigate vertical labyrinths and make daring jumps, but be careful; one false move and you go tumbling down.

​Please note: you don't actually ragdoll during falls, you can control Ratty during falling to partially recover progress. I just like this gif from an early build of the game because it's funny.

There are no stinky collectibles

- Just climb and explore, there's not hundreds of collectibles like typical platformers have. But there may be a secret cheese piece in every world, and something special might happen upon finding them all...

Every object has exact, precise collision

- If there's a small hole or ledge, you can probably walk on it or fit inside. You must think outside the box of traditional platformers and start thinking like a rat to progress up the vertical labyrinth worlds.

There are no power ups or unlockable moves

- There are only 3 controls: Jump, dash, and walk

The dash lets you jump farther and slightly higher

The walk allows for precise movement and prevents you from walking off of ledges

If you fall, there's a chance you could recover progress due to the nature of the world having each zone stacked above the previous one, and the fact that you still have some airborne control, but it's not guaranteed.
